👋 Hello, everyone! In this Murphy Law Monday, we're discussing what to do if the other parent won't let you see your child.

🚓 If you have a court order, consider going to the police for enforcement, but try to communicate first to avoid hostility.

⚠️ If the child's safety is at risk (danger, danger, danger), involving the police may be necessary, even without a court order.

🚨 Emergencies like the child being in immediate danger or taken out of state can warrant filing an emergency petition.

📝 If no custody order or agreement exists, file for custody with the court, highlighting your lack of access and non-responsive co-parent.

🔒 You can also file for contempt if you have a court order and are denied access. Don't delay; time weakens your case.

⏳ Be mindful of time passing in custody disputes; document all communications and intentions.
