🎄📝 Planning for Christmas: Ensure a Smooth Holiday Season! 🎅🤶

On this Murphy Law Monday, let's discuss the importance of early planning for Christmas. Too often, parents find themselves in a last-minute frenzy, unsure of pickup times and logistics. Avoid the stress and chaos by taking the time to plan ahead! ⏰🗓️

My number one advice is to plan, plan, plan! Failing to plan is planning to fail. Take advantage of this early month and iron out the details. Decide who will have Christmas morning, Christmas evening, and Christmas Eve. Consider traditions like milk and cookies by the fireplace, and ensure that all the little logistics are accounted for. Remember, these seemingly small details matter to your child and your own sanity on Christmas day. 🎁🎄

Think about your family traditions and what matters most to you. Some families prioritize Christmas Eve gatherings and dinners, while others focus on Christmas day. It's crucial to align your plans with these traditions. Discuss and write out a plan, email it to the other parent, and make sure you're both on the same page. Having it in writing provides a record and can be useful if any issues arise. 📝✉️

Keep in mind, in court proceedings, the main priority of the judge is ensuring the well-being of the child. They want to ensure the child has access to and time with both parents. So, prioritize this above all else. 🏛️👶

Don't let lack of planning ruin your holidays. Set reminders, send texts, and keep everything organized. By doing so, you can enjoy a smoother and more enjoyable Christmas season for everyone involved. 🎉🎅🤶
